Regular Meeting of the Expert Board on technical regulation in communications and informatization sphere has taken place

On January 20, a regular meeting of the Expert Board on technical regulation in communications and informatization sphere was held under the chairmanship of A. Ishanhodzhaev.

Within the meeting were discussed:
1. Consideration and approval of a Work Plan of the Expert Board on technical regulation for 2012 - speaker - D. Abdalimova (Secretary of the Expert Board, a deputy head of Base Organization for Standardization);

2. Consideration of a technical regulation "Technical requirements for telecommunications equipment" - speaker - B. Yakubov (Head of STC TST of SUE "UNICON.UZ").

D. Abdalimova has familiarized the guests with a draft Work Plan of the Expert Board on technical regulation, formed on the basis of proposals of EB members. During the discussion, the plan was revised and approved.

During the discussion of the technical regulation "Requirements for telecommunications equipment", it has been noted that text of the regulation has been amended in accordance with proposals announced at the meeting of the Expert

Board on November 15, 2011. Particular attention was paid to the necessity of further development of a special technical regulation "Technical requirements for interfaces of telecommunications equipment", the order of the technical regulations’ "Hardware requirements for telecommunications" presentation for approval to the concerned ministries and departments, as well as economic agents of communications and informatization sphere.

It was decided to send a draft technical regulation for approval to the following organizations: Uzbekistan Airways, Uzbekistan Railways, Uzaeronavigatsiya, Uzneftgaz, Uzbekenergo, mobile operators, service providers and others.

The next meeting of the Expert Board is planned to be held in April.
