On April 17, 2012, in accordance with the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan № PP-1394 of August 20, 2010 \"On creation of the Interagency Working Group on the transition to digital broadcasting in the Republic of Uzbekistan\", as well as to ensure the efficient use of radio spectrum and a smooth transition to digital television, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan adopted the Decree № PP 1741 \"On the State program on technical and technological transition to digital broadcasting in the Republic of Uzbekistan\".
